The E-Commerce Business Director takes full commercial ownership of the group’s growing e-commerce business and leads its organisation, holding full accountability for the P&L. He/She own and grow the Emporium online store and lead the launch and commercial growth of three or more premium storefronts. He/She lead through workstream managers and act as the senior commercial counterpart to the Group Technical Lead, who owns the platform build. This is a leadership and commercial role — not a hands-on technical one. Lead & Organise the Business Unit: • Define, lead, and develop the e-commerce team and its structure, instilling clear priorities, process, accountability, and a high-performance culture, • Lead the Sales Operations, Product, CRM, and Marketing workstreams, empowering managers to own day-to-day execution; attract, develop, and retain key talent, • Lead the commercial launch of new or upgraded storefronts, in co ordination with the Group’s Technical team’s delivery schedule. Own Commercial Growth & the P&L: • Hold full P&L accountability for Emporium and each brand store — revenue, margin, cost control, and growth — and define commercial strategy, targets, and direction across the portfolio, • Set pricing, promotional, brand-mix, and customer-acquisition strategies appropriate to each store’s premium positioning, • Own budgets, KPIs, and reporting to the Supervisory Board, and the commercial roadmap as the platform evolves toward mobile apps and new storefronts. Own Online Merchandising & Customer Growth: • Own online merchandising and assortment so that each store sits within the luxury-to-premium fashion segment, distinct from mass-market marketplaces, • Drive user growth, conversion, basket value, and retention, leveraging existing CRM (Salesforce), loyalty, and operations tools. Partner Technology & Vendors: • Act as the key commercial counterpart to the Group Technical Lead, translating commercial priorities into the technical roadmap (1C, Salesforce, Shopify Plus, mobile apps), • Manage agency, contractor, and vendor relationships at a strategic level, ensuring shared group infrastructure is used effectively. Requirements

Professional Experience: • 6+ years in business leadership (e-commerce or online retail preferred), • including proven leadership of sizable, multi-functional teams delivering • commercial performance online, • A track record of running multiple workstreams in parallel, with ownership • of revenue, margin, and growth (P&L) for one or more properties, • Experience launching new stores, start-ups, or businesses online is an • advantage. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail, Fashion Business, or a related field (Master’s an advantage), or equivalent senior commercial / business-leadership experience. Key Skills: • Strong leadership and organisation across teams and parallel workstreams; strategic thinking and commercial judgement, • Sound financial and administrative literacy (budgets, P&L, reporting), • A background in premium or fashion retail, or the sensibility to lead one; premium-merchandising instinct is valued and can be deepened by a strong leader, • Platform fluency (Shopify Plus, Salesforce, 1C or any other ERP) sufficient to be a credible counterpart to the Technical Lead — not a hands-on tech expert; • Advanced English (Azerbaijani and/or Russian a strong advantage).
